Now let's get down to the nitty gritty. We are now entering into the 3rd week of July with OMG being the biggest gacha only event so far. There was total mayhem when the gates opened. The dust has finally settled and now we look forward to the next event. Before we get there, I'd like to discuss my top five. I chose these based on craftsmanship, creativity and it's affect on me, personally. You may not agree with my choices, just remember that this is purely opinion based so bear with me.
#5The Spellbound Suspiria hair caught my attention mainly for the v-fringe. I literally had been looking for a decent style with this fringe. What's particularly special about this one is its versatility. V-fringes create very dramatic lines on the face which can make a person look fierce. But the wavy hair that frames the face, softens the features and gives it more of a sweetheart look. It gives the look a bit of versatility. Suitable for goth or a sweet look and everything in between.
#4 on my list is Razor's Seraph Punk sleeveless hoodie with wings. When I saw the poster for this in OMG, I felt a tinge of nostalgia from my raver days. Its rich laser-printed texture, that looks a bit like graffiti, neon colors and glowing wings is very reminiscent of raver/anime fashion. I'm very much into the two, more anime than raver, so I absolutely had to have it. If not for my own personal interests then for the fine craftsmanship.
#3 *N*'s Kazaguruma hand and hair windmills are simple and nicely crafted. I have a great love for Japanese culture and in particular the beauty of their festivals. Lovely rich colors and lights and it's represented so well with these fans. The smiling dandelion is a nice touch, giving it a whimsical quality. The windmill spins in a realistic manner, changing speeds and slowing to a near stop and going off at top speed again. A nice addition to any festival outfit. And of course the kiddies will also love it.

#2 Chop Shop's eyes were a nice surprise at this event. In gachas, eyes tend to be a hit or miss. I gave it a try considering they look amazing in the ad. They are unconventional, yes, but for those of us that love costumes or role-play, we could use these gems in our collections. And that's what they look like, gems. Surprisingly enough they look absolutely amazing, regardless of the style of your avi. I do anime and I go realistic with my LL avi and it looks great with either look. I can't wait to see any others they come up with, and I feel if they do the conventional eyes they'd be competition for the more well established eye creators.
#1 And Ltd's Icebees for the win. Anc has caught my eye at Arcade with their Eden collection which I have all but that chapel. And they have yet again to play with my imagination with the icebees. Scoops of ice-cream atop a complimentary cone, most of which are topped with honey and equipped with mechanical insect wings and a stinger. My favorite treat for summer given life. The thought of eating this tempting treat would cause me to question my moral facilities. For me it gives a horrific notion of the life the bees lead. Not to mention their size and the price one would pay for entering their territory. Their appearance is disarming and that may be your downfall. They are well sculpted and textured and the wing animation is exquisite. A trail to imitate the flapping speed. If you can't already tell, these bees are hands down my fave.
Catch ya around for the next posts coming up. Next up is Era of Vikings and the gacha scene in Chapter 4 and Seasons' Story.
